Happy Thursday! Can’t believe it’s almost Friday? Well, they say times go faster when everything is going well in your life and we’ve just had a great week, we spoke about the meaning of faith, the Cost of Discipleship, and yesterday some of us accepted God. I can’t be anymore happier. The heavens are shaking with jubilations of what we’ve done this week and I am proud of all of you. I pray that God gives you immense strength, wisdom, and spiritual guidance to cling to his word always. I pray that he gives you the faith of David and trust that he watchers over you at all times. Shew! I really cannot stop. You see other Gods have tried but they failed miserably.
Church let me preach for a second when Satan thought he could contest God’s throne, God dealt with him so viciously that heaven was a billion miles far away from him. Jesus says “I saw Satan fall like a lightning to heaven”. The decision was quick, vicious, and damning. That is the God we praise!! This is our God Church, Lucifer has never set foot in heaven’s gate ever again since that day and he now lives on earth wondering looking for people to destroy and eat like a lion. He is lost, weak, defeated, and powerless.
Should I preach more Church? Remember how God defeated the walls of Jericho with Joshua. Ooh, Heavenly Father, let me preach today. God had foretold Joshua that he will hand Jericho to him with its King and Soldiers. God instructed Joshua to command his people to blow their trumpets for 6 days and on the 7th day, they will come crashing down. Imagine trumpets lifting walls and breaking them by their sound? Only God can do that! Those walls remained abandoned for years as Joshua had cursed them. This is why I love my God and why I want all of you to experience what I see and hear every day from the Lord. Our God is powerful and nothing can stand in our way when he is beside us. There’s no job too big enough, no hunger, no poverty, no pain, no depression, no sickness can stand in our way. I proclaim victory over all of you right now in the mighty name of Jesus!
I wanted to preach about perseverance today but the holy spirit has taken over and I now think we should take this topic next week. But before we close, I’d like to leave you with this wonderful word, Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” No matter what issue or problem you have, know that our God is still undefeated, there’s no issue too big for him. Spend the time now and ask for his intervention. I love you all. Amen.
