Good Morning Spiritual Neighbours! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend? Today we’re going over the meaning of Faith and what it means for us Christians.
Do you know what is the meaning of Faith? It is trust, assurance, and confidence in God. Living faith is shown by service and obedience to God. Let me put it in layman’s terms, Faith means believing in God that we haven’t seen with our physical or naked eyes but trusting and believing that he is there and always watching over us.
Well let me ask., what would happen if we saw God with our own eyes? Remember when Jesus leads three of his disciples, Peter, James, and John, to a “high mountain and Jesus changes in front of them to reflect God’s Glory. Well, the Bible says that “There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.” Remember also Moses and the burning tree but that’s wasn’t really burning? This is when Moses wanted to see the physical nature of God, the Bible says “At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.” God has always revealed himself to people but our human body form cannot stand the sight of God.
So we now see God spiritually when we pray and see miracles happen before us and that strengthens our faith in knowing that he is always communicating or revealing himself to us. Remember now the famous verse 2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight”. Church, God has done so many things in my life, and have seen him work in my friends and people I know, when you give your life to God, he will show you signs and revelations of his presence.
I’d like to encourage each and every one of you today that God is waiting to do wonders in your life, spend time in your spiritual being and invest in your faith. I pray that God manifests himself in all you and your families. Amen.
